I have wanted to take two trips for far too long now, and I’m tired of just talking about them. I’m hesitant to sign up with a random traveling group because, well, because I’d rather have memories with the friends I already have. So, here’s my plea.
Trip number one – True backpacking through Europe.
I’m looking to see my second home in a new way – with a pack on my back. So if you’re low maintenance and have a hankering for living off of brotchen and nutella for a few weeks, let’s talk. My goal is to go in the warmer months, so this trip may need to wait till the spring. Guys or girls are encouraged to apply.
Trip number two – My lifelong dream: The Middle East.
Here’s the idea – I want to see Israel, Jordan, Lebanon and Egypt all in one trip. Are you up for it? From what I hear and read, this trip is best in the fall. Is it possible to get our acts together by this fall? Does it need to be punted till next? Talk to me, folks. And, the small hitch with this trip is that I will need a male to travel with. Just as a precaution.
Oh, and let’s go ahead and just rule out romantic interests. Trips like these need to be free from entanglements of the heart. Ha. Love you, though. Mean it.
Let me know if there’s someone out there in my life who would be interested in going. And if it’s someone who can encourage me to keep the dream alive and save money, that would be an added bonus.
