My lunch with James Marsden.
My pal Joey did me a solid a month ago and took some headshots and – typical Nashville – I paid him in food. His heart’s desire was for Pei Wei, so off we went to Green Hills to partake in the fast food deliciousness.
Whilst talking about such trivial things like natural disasters and the war on terror, the atmosphere in the room seemed to change. I glanced up and locked eyes with, drumroll please, Cyclops. Or eye, I guess you could say.
That’s right, James Marsden, who apparently needs to eat like the rest of us, stopped in to grab a quick bite. I would now like to take a moment and play out how the rest of my lunch SHOULD have gone (but didn’t, since I have tact).
-> Hi there, James! So you went to OSU? That’s cool. I went to OU. I guess we’re just two Oklahoma buddies, huh?
-> James James James…what up, brosef? So, I’m talking to an agent. Maybe one day we can do a movie and regale each other with stories of our days in the great Sooner state.
-> Oh, now this is NUTS! I wasn’t feeling good yesterday so I watched Enchanted *twice*! I was too lazy to get up and put a new DVD in. But now you’re here! What are the CHANCES?!
Instead Joey and I just giggled to each other. But there’s always tomorrow…
